DIGITAL ANALYTICS & COMPETITIVE RESEARCH
All of my projects start with data gathering and research.
I start with quantitative data - Web analytics, BI, or CRM data to understand the "who", "how" and "what".
If the data isn't present, I can help build the measurement plan and manage the analytics implementation to get you there.
Then I look at the competition and outside the industry to understand the landscape and identify gaps.
PERSONA DEVELOPMENT
The best digital experiences put the user first.
I take a data-driven approach to understanding who the user is and what they are trying to accomplish.
I get the user's perspective to understand the "why". From user surveys, to interviews and focus groups, I gather the qualitative data to understand the user's motivations, expectations and needs.
By using multiple data points, I build accurate but iterative user profiles that grow with the business.
SITE ARCHITECTURE & JOURNEY MAPPING
Interactions don't typically happen in a vacuum or in a one-off fashion - they're interconnected experiences.
Whether we're exploring how a user makes a single transaction, or trying to understand a more complex series of touchpoints in a long-term business relationship, I can help map those experiences to help identify the areas of greatest need or biggest impact.
I try to understand not only the process, but also the user's emotional state to help build simpler, logical and delightful experiences.
A/B TESTING, MULTIVARIATE TESTING & SITE OPTIMIZATION
Sometimes you get lucky and you get things right the first time. Most of the time, even good user experiences need little tweaks and adjustments.
I help you fail faster and foster a culture of continuous improvement through user testing and site optimization. No matter if you're testing simple design changes via software or require the use of a usability lab, I have the experience to help you build a testing plan and see it through to completion and evaluation.
